    「日迎站」為連接首爾北部郊外線的火車站。

    2004年停止營運客運列車，2013年站長退休後，雖然偶有貨運列車通過，但最後仍走向廢站。直到2025年決定重新開通郊外線後，以保留原有歷史風貌的方向進行了車站修繕工程並重新啟用。之後，日迎站內增設了旅遊諮詢處，展示過去郊外線使用過的文物。

    日迎站擁有斑駁的指示牌與隨時間長成的青草，完整保留歲月流逝的氣息，因而吸引無數遊客到訪。由於離首爾不遠，景色宜人，因而成為電影、廣告與MV的熱門拍攝地。代表作之一為2001年上映的電影《我的野蠻女友》，女主角(全智賢 飾)與牽牛(車太鉉 飾)埋下時光膠囊後彼此錯身而過的車站場景便是這裡。
