酪農業發達的任實通常被視為起司之鄉，但在熱愛韓國傳統音樂的人心目中，它可是貨真價實的筆峰農樂之鄉。農樂是用來祈求共同體和諧與村莊安寧的音樂，內容結合樂器演奏、遊行、舞蹈與歌曲，型態就像是一種綜合藝術劇。2014年被列入聯合國教科文組織人類無形文化遺產名錄，價值深獲認可。農樂在全韓國各地以多種型態流傳，其中的任實筆峰農樂與晉州三千浦農樂、平澤農樂、裡里農樂、江陵農樂合稱為韓國五大農樂，能從銅鑼等樂器中感受強而有力的節奏為其特點。

《跳舞的上男筆峰百年》是基於筆峰農樂的傳統戲劇，以1970年代為背景，講述了守護筆峰村村莊巫舞的「梁上男」、離開村莊想要出人頭地的其子「筆峰」，以及守護農樂的筆峰村民的故事。劇中的傳統婚禮、花喪禮、趕牛等流露韓國傳統文化的場面讓全劇更出色有趣。

表演場館位於筆峰山下的筆峰文化村，村內除了表演場之外，還設有韓屋旅宿、小型圖書館、咖啡廳與步道等多種設施，可在觀賞表演之餘，享受大自然中的休憩。
