溫陽民俗博物館是韓國第一座私立民俗博物館，是為了宣揚韓國傳統文化之美與優秀，而於1978年開館。博物館整體佔地72,727㎡，包含建築師伊丹潤在韓國的第一件作品龜亭藝術中心在內，擁有3個常設展覽室、1個特展室、戶外展示場等空間。館內收藏了蘊含先人智慧的生活用品約2萬多件，除展示外，也推行各種教育課程、表演等文化活動。
